Domains

Domain management with clear ownership.

A domain is both a public identity and an operational dependency. Regit4u is preparing registration, transfer and renewal services that keep control, contacts and lifecycle events understandable.

01

Ownership first

Registrant details, administrative access and renewal responsibility should be explicit. Customers should be able to understand who controls a name, where important notices go and what action is required next.

02

Transfers without guesswork

Transfer rules vary by extension and registrar. Future workflows will show prerequisites, approval steps, expected states and any period during which a change cannot be reversed.

  • Inbound and outbound transfers
  • Authorisation and ownership checks
  • DNS continuity during a move
  • Lifecycle and expiry visibility
03

Renewal and expiry

Renewal dates need visible ownership because an expired domain can affect websites, email and third-party systems at the same time. Notices, renewal status and recovery options should be presented without ambiguity.

04

Integration with boundaries

Registrar and registry automation will sit behind the future Regit4u API rather than inside the public website. Nominet and OpenSRS relationships, terminology and logo permissions will be verified before related claims are published.
